Joe Moreno is from Santa Cruz, CA and his love for photography goes back to the days of developing black and white film as his high school’s yearbook photographer. His passion for photography developed out of his interest and respect for wildlife and was ignited three years ago when he captured his first bird photograph. Joe is 98% retired from his family’s Italian restaurant. His two sons run the business giving Joe the opportunity to develop his skills as a wildlife photographer.

My goal in the photos I capture is to blend detail and artistic elements to highlight my subject’s personality and hopefully tell a story.
