Paper Prints
Paper Prints
Have your own frame handy, or just want a really minimalist look? We offer all of our photography as paper prints, which is also (not surprisingly) our most affordable option. We use an archival-quality sustainable bamboo paper for all of our paper (and most of our framed) prints.
According to our fulfillment partner: "Hahnemühle Bamboo is the world’s first giclee and photo paper made from 90% bamboo fibers, an environmentally friendly paper production, resulting in a natural look. The natural white, warm-toned bamboo paper does not contain optical brighteners, and stands out for its soft, lightly textured, felt-like structure and sensual feel. The premium matte surface delivers excellent printing results, with defined reproduction of color and detail, particularly for warm hues and monochrome prints. Bamboo is acid and lignin-free and meets the most precise requirements in terms of age resistance. The unique combination of sustainable bamboo fibers, soft surface texture and impressive print quality gives the artwork outstanding expression and soul."
And yes, they did use the word "sensual" - that is some paper!
Canvas
Canvas
We use a high-quality artisan canvas with a low-gloss finish. With their wide color gamut, exceptional contrast and consistent canvas texture, our canvases are perfect for photography. Due to the durable nature of the inks used, prints are both scratch and smudge-resistant without the need to be coated.
We mount all of our canvases using a gallery wrap, where the image wraps around the side of the frame, adding an element of depth to the piece. Our small canvases are .75 inches deep, while our medium and large canvases are 1.5 inches deep.
The portion of the image which wraps around the side shows up as wings on our product photos. On (rare) occasions where the gallery wrap would push key elements of photo to the sides, we do not use a gallery wrap, instead opting for white sides to keep the depth while preserving the photograph. These cases should be noted in bold on the listing.
Metal Prints
Metal Prints
Want something really sleek and modern? Try our metal prints. We use a sophisticated dye-sublimation process to reproduce photographs on a .045“ ChromaLuxe® aluminum panel.
A white high gloss surface provides a metallic look while preserving the white points in an image. The final product has a high-level luminescence effect for seemingly superior image density and contrast.
A metal bracket (or two on larger sizes) holds the panel .5 inches off the wall, allowing shadows and depth to add interest to your piece.
